Allan Kelly


Software Strategy Ltd. was founded by Allan Kelly with the aim of helping those who create software achieve excellence. With over 25 years experience working with software Allan has held just about every job in the software world: system admin, tester, developer, architect, product manager and development manager. Today he is based in London and helps software companies adopt and deepen Agile and Lean practices through training, consulting and coaching. He specialises in aligning company strategy with products and processes.

In addition to numerous journal articles and conference presentations he is the author of of
"Changing Software Development: Learning to Become Agile" (2008) and is currently writing a new book, "Business Patterns for Software Developers" - due for publication in 2012. In addition he is a contributor to "97 Things Every Programmer Should Know" and "Pattern Languages of Program Design (5)”, has written numerous journal articles and is a popular speaker at software conferences. Allan holds BSc and MBA degrees.

Jon Jagger


Jon is a 2C years old (hexadecimal) and has loved software since he was about 10 (decimal). He's a self employed software
coach-consultant-trainer-programmer-etc specializing in practice, people, process, agility, test driven development, and systems thinking. He built
CyberDojo (http://www.cyber-dojo.com) to promote deliberate software practice.

He's worked with Accenture, Cisco, Friends Provident, HP, Microsoft, Opera, Ordnance Survey, RBS, Reuters, Renault F1, Schlumberger, and many many more. He works on a no win, no fee basis. He's the ex-ECMA TG2 C# convenor. He's also the current ACCU conference chairman. He's had some C# books published.
He's married to the beautiful Natalie, and proud father of Ellie, Penny and Patrick. He loves freshwater river fishing and lives in rural Somerset in England. On

Giovani Aspronri


Giovanni career spans many roles--from programmer to senior architect, technical project leader, and trainer and mentor--in a variety of application domains including CASE tools, telecommunications, bioinformatics, and banking.
His main areas of expertise are agile software development, software architecture and design, object oriented development, software and organizational patterns, and, last but not least, writing code.

He is a committee member, and a past chair of the London XPDay conference, and a past chair of the ACCU conference. He is a member of the ACCU, the AgileAlliance, the ACM, the IEEE Computer Society and a contributor to "97 Things Every Programmer Should Know”.

Paul Grenyer


Paul describes himself as an
automated testing evangelist - he has deployed automated testing many languages in many domains.

In a career spanning over 10 years Paul has developed software for industries as diverse as marking machinery, direct mail, investment banking, insurance and internet TV. In addition to designing and programming systems he has built highly productive software teams.

He is a prolific author with regularly contributions to
ACCU publications - including the Desert Island Books column - and a frequent conference speaker.
