Scrum Foundation Programme for Agile Software Development
Scrum in 6 weeks
A six-week programme designed to lay the foundation of Scrum software development in a team while the team continue their existing work.At the end of the six weeks the team will understand and be putting into practice the Scrum software development methodology. The organization will see the following benefits:

During this time the team continues to develop their existing product in their normal workplace. Except for a few specific training days away from work adoption happens in the actual work environment.
The programme is designed in three phases:
Phase 1: Scrum Assessment
In this phase an assessment of the current development practices and training needs of the team is made. This is then used to guide the following two phases.
Phase 2: Scrum Training
All members of the undertake Scrum training together. In addition specialists team members will receive training specific to their specialisation. For example, developers may undertake Test Driven Development training.
Phase 3: Scrum Practice
Teams put their training into practice with help of an Coach and temporary Scrum Master. As well as technical practices such as Test Driven Development, Refactoring and Continuous Integration teams will engage in short Sprints, retrospectives, visual tracking and other core Agile practices and processes.
Additional training is provided during the rest of phase 3 as required.
Notes
- For large teams more than one Agile Coach may be required.
- Phase 1 may be conducted in advance of phases 2 and 3 if required.

size. A fixed price can be quoted if required.
Suitability
This programme is suitable for teams engaged in:
- Product, bepoke or corporate IT type development.
- Teams starting a new projects, teams part way through an project and teams operating in maintenance mode.
- This programme may be adapted to most current technologies; C#, Java and C++ are the most common examples.
- Teams up to 12 may are
catered for as standard, larger teams can be catered for
if required with modifications to the programme.
