Unfortunately software development projects get into trouble. Software Strategy can help by taking over management of a project or a team and a period of months to with the aim of turning the project around and making it a success.

Our approach is largely based on Agile and Lean development practices but we know that Agile alone is not enough, there is no Agile recipe book to follow when saving a project. Instead it is the thousands of decisions made everyday by the team members and, most importantly, their managers that make the difference between success and failure.

Agile and Lean Introduction

For many companies the quickest route to improve team performance is to have an experienced Agile manager take over the team and implement change. In this role Software Strategy takes over the management of a team or group for several months to introduce Agile and Lean development practices and process.

At the end of this time the team is capable of continuing Agile development either under their previous management or under a new permanent manager.

During these engagements Software Strategy will also provide direct training to the team and bring in experts in specific fields for additional training when required.
